CAMPUS DINING MEAL PLANS

Please note: If you are a resident student, you are required to be on one of the meal plans; no exception to this rule!

We've Got Just the Plan for You!
In order to meet your campus dining needs, Nichols College has designed the following meal plans for the academic year:

Plan Options
First Year Students & Sophomores
  • Your Meal Plan consists of 15 meals per week in the Dining Hall and $150 per semester in "Bison Bucks!"
Copper Beach Apt. Plan
  • Copper Beach Apt. Plan: 90 meals in the Dining Hall and $300 in Bison Bucks per semester.

*NOTE: Juniors & Seniors have up to the add/drop end date to change meal plans.

Juniors And Seniors
You have three meal plan options:
  • The nineteen meal plan which consists of nineteen meals per week in the Lombard Dining Hall with no Bison Bucks.
  • The fifteen meal plan which consists of fifteen meals per week in the Dining Hall & $150 in Bison Bucks per
    semester.
  • The ten meal plan which consists of ten meals per week in the Dining Hall and $250 in Bison Bucks per semester.

Commuters, Faculty & Staff
For Commuter Students & Staff, please visit www.bisonbucks.com in order to enroll or add money to your bison bucks account.

Lost Your Meal Card?
Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you, you will need to contact the Public Safety Department on campus at extension 5555 which will put you in touch with the Public Safety Dispatcher. Your card will be placed on "lost
status" in order to protect your bison bucks account until you either find your lost ID or a new/ replacement ID card is made for you.

Please Note: Neither Nichols College or the Dining Services Department are responsible for lost or stolen cards. If your card is stolen and any amount of Bison Bucks are used, no monetary amount will be reimbursed to you.

Bison Bucks
Nichols College is pleased to inform you about the NEW and improved Bison Bucks program. The program allows students to extend their spending power beyond the campus. With the addition of off-campus locations as well as on, Nichols College and Bison Bucks is enhancing the student experience and broadening student access to local area merchants. Bison Bucks is an account on the students’ ID cards and included as part of the meal plan cost. Their Student ID card provides added flexibility to the student to eat where they want when they want with added security. Bison Bucks has expanded to even more locations off-campus. A list of available merchants will be available prior to the start of the each semester.

Dining Policies & Procedures
One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we need your help in adhering to the following procedures:

  • Please bus your plates and disposables from your table when you have finished dining.
  • Take only the food you plan to eat, and please eat the food you take.
  • Please do not take food, dishes or utensils out of the Dining Hall.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Do not lend your Meal Card
News and Information
 Note to Athletes

Meals are provided to you for away games, early and late feeds due to your athletic schedules. This is included in you meal plan. Each meal is automatically deducted from your meal plan for each of the meals listed above.

 

 Dietary Needs & Illness

Do you have a particular dietary need? No problem! Our Campus Dining Services program can accommodate your special dietary requirements. For more information, please contact either the Catering Manager at Ext. 2346 or Executive Chef at Ext. 2317.

In addition, Sodexo provides a registered dietician and nutritionist through our corporate office. If you have a need to speak with a registered Dietician / Nutritionist, please contact Dennis Santelli at ext. 2251.

Sick containers are also available for students with a meal plan. If you are feeling under the weather and would like to have your roommate or friend bring some food to you, again call Dennis Santelli or Aaron Hill.
